Accessorial Fees
American Airlines Cargo's Accessorial Fees and Surcharges are applied are based on the Air Waybill execution date (e.g., the Air Waybill date). They are not based on the flight, booking or log receive date.

Disbursement Fees
Fair Booking Policy / Cancellation Policy
For all shipments booked to ship on or after April 17, 2023, failure to show by shipment cut off time will result in a fee of $200. Cancellations or changes prior to cut off time will not incur a fee. The policy will only include a fee for shipments with a chargeable weight of more than 250kg that fail to show by shipment cut off time. The policy will not apply to PPS shipments. Inquires must be made within 120 days of invoicing.
Effective July 1, 2023 the policy will apply to Human Remains shipments with a chargeable weight of more than 100kg that fail to cancel or change the AWB prior to cut off time.
Effective April 1, 2024 animal shipments will be subject to our Fair Booking fee. The Fair Booking fee is only applicable for animal shipments when the customer has as PAL and the weight is more than 22kgs.
