On Monday, Dec. 9, American Airlines Cargo begins offering full cargo service to and from New Orleans, Louisiana (MSY). The newly-expanded service provides customers with more options for shipping cargo into and out of the city and the same great service they've come to know and expect from American.
Cargo service in New Orleans is available for all of American's products both domestically and internationally, including Priority Parcel Service, ConfirmedFS, ExpediteFS and ExpediteTC. Perishables, seafood, live animals and oil well supplies are expected to be the primary exports out of the city.
American offers regular connections between New Orleans and its hubs in Dallas/Fort Worth and Miami. The strength of American’s domestic and international network allows it to easily move shipments between New Orleans and cities around the globe.
Air General will act as American’s handler in New Orleans.
Earlier this year, American expanded cargo service into and out of Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP), Hartford (BDL), Orlando (MCO), Indianapolis (IND), New York – LaGuardia (LGA), San Diego (SAN), Atlanta (ATL) and Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR).
