American Airlines Group today reported positive combined traffic growth in March 2014 for American Airlines Cargo and US Airways Cargo.
American Airlines Group's system cargo ton miles (CTMs) for the month were 213.4 million, up 11.2 percent versus March 2013. Year-to-date CTMs were 560.7 million, up 12.1 percent over the same period in 2013.
The company continues to outperform major U.S. competitors in year-over-year cargo traffic.
