American Airlines Cargo today begins offering full cargo service to and from Tampa, Florida (TPA). The expanded service will provide customers with more options for shipping cargo into and out of the city and the same great service they've come to know and expect from American.
Cargo service in Tampa is available for all of American's products both domestically and internationally, including Priority Parcel Service, ConfirmedFS, ExpediteFS and ExpediteTC. Produce, spare parts and tropical fish are expected to be the primary exports out of the city.
American offers regular connections between Tampa and its hubs in Miami, Dallas/Fort Worth and Chicago O'Hare. The strength of American's domestic and international network allows it to easily move shipments between Tampa and cities around the globe.
Air General will act as American’s handler in Tampa.
