American Airlines Group, the holding company for American Airlines and US Airways, today reported results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2014. Key highlights for cargo include:

• For the first quarter of 2014, combined mainline and regional cargo revenue was approximately $206 million, up 4.9 percent versus the same period last year.
• Combined mainline and regional cargo ton miles (CTMs) for the first quarter of 2014 were 560 million, up 11.9 percent versus the first quarter 2013.
• For the first quarter, combined mainline and regional cargo yield per ton mile was 36.88 cents, down 6.3 percent versus the same period in 2013.
